OMEGA SPEEDMASTER 105.012-66CB

Finding another CB Speedmaster this good will be quite the task if we may say so ourselves. Everything about this Omega Speedmaster 105.012-66CB is all original and the watch remains in excellent conditions.

Let’s start with the case and bracelet, the case manufactured by Centrale Boites (CB) still remains in original and unpolished conditions. The flat facets on top of the four lugs are clearly visible and sharp as a knife. The case shows no signs of any major damages, only hairline scratches can be found on mainly the lugs and on the case-back. This ‘single bevel’ case-back displays the word SPEEDMASTER along with the seahorse logo and both are visible with the naked eye. The much sought after 1039 bracelet with it’s correct 516 end-links (!) is unpolished and stretch free, all links are accounted for including all the spring links which aren’t damaged and were never touched by watchmaker tools. The original DON Tachymètre insert on this 105.012CB is one of the best we’ve seen in a long time! As you might know, a lot of these DON inserts are usually beat up and eaten away by the elements, but this one is just spotless and excellent. The beautiful matte black dial with it’s desirable ‘step’ and it’s deeper sub-dials for the chronograph looks incredible – If it wasn’t for that tiny piece of missing Tritium at the one o’clock marker, this dial would be an absolute 10! All Tritium markers have a gorgeous and rich yellow colour to them, fully complementing the vintage vibe of this legendary chronograph. To top it off, this Speedmaster is still fitted with it’s original wider and short pushers including the original winding crown with Omega’s ‘narrow’ logo.

The famed 321 caliber housed inside this CB Speedmaster was fully serviced by our watchmakers and not a single part of the original movement had to be replaced, she performs like a dream. The watch is accompanied by it’s original box including an Extract from the Omega Archives from 2014, where it is mentioned that this Speedy was delivered to the USA in April of 1967.
