Audemars Piguet FONDATION 14990 Unpolished

It was a very hard to decision to keep this Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Fondation with reference 14990 unpolished, but the fact is, this is an extremely rare Royal Oak still in all original factory condition, and since the demand for all original and unpolished watches is becoming greater (even ones with a million hairline scratches) we decided to keep the case and bracelet exactly the way we found her – unpolished.

This ‘Fondation’ Royal Oak is a 1 of only 250 pieces manufactured by Audemars Piguet to support AP’s foundation of all things good. This foundation has been contributing since 1992 to the cause of worldwide forest conservation through environmental protection and youth awareness-raising endeavours, hence the official name for this reference 14990; Time for the Trees. A name which is engraved on the 22ct gold rotor of the automatic movement along with the mighty Oak tree – both visible through the sapphire glass case-back.

As mentioned the watch remains in all original factory condition with a strong case and stretch-free integrated bracelet with sharp edges and visible chamfers all around the watch. The Tappiserie dial on this very rare and limited Royal Oak is the colour blue, but throughout the years thanks to UV, the dial is starting to show a very attractive lilac/purple hue, especially noticeable outside in the sunlight, making this already rare reference, even more rare! This entire Audemars Piguet Royal Oak radiates exclusiveness and in our opinion it’s one of the most rare Royal Oak references around, it will be very hard to find another one of these reference 14990 for sale!

The caliber 2125 automatic movement was serviced by our watchmakers and the watch will be delivered with our 12 month warranty.
