HEUER CAMARO VALJOUX 72

We’re kind of going off-topic with this Heuer Camaro Chronograph, but we really loved the spotless dial and unpolished cushion shaped case on this classic 1960’s chronograph – It was just too good and too pretty not to put in our collection.

This three-register Camaro Chronograph with clean silver dial and tachymeter scale, is as classic as it gets when it comes to vintage Chrono’s. The clean and very well balanced dial has beautiful warm patinated Tritium at the end of the hour-markers and inside the hands. This works extremely well against that bright silver Heuer dial – The Camaro watch had one of shortest production runs within the Heuer brand, it was manufactured from 1968 to just 1972 which adds to the already unique character of the watch. As you can see in the photo’s this Heuer has been worn and it’s showing some scratches and small dents, but also visible are the sharp lines, that cool facet-cut going all around the edge of the case, just to merge right into the lugs, and let’s not forget the original factory brushing on top of the case – All in all, an excellent conditioned vintage Heuer watch! She’s fitted to a New Old Stock, stainless steel Prima Plana Beads of Rice bracelet, but a leather strap also works extremely well on this Iconic chronograph.

This Camaro is powered by the legendary caliber, Valjoux 72, the movement is Heuer signed and has been fully serviced and the watch will be sold with a twelve month warranty. If you’re a big fan of vintage Chronograph’s, this Heuer Camaro is a watch seriously worth considering..
