ROLEX 5513 SUBMARINER NON-SERIF DIAL

We found another cool 5513 Submariner with Non-Serif dial, but this time around, it comes without it’s Oyster bracelet. After trying out different leather straps for this vintage Submariner, we decided to go with the good old G10 NATO strap to stay true to what these watches were all about back in the day – Diver Toolwatches for civilian and sometimes military use. A watch that can take a beating and looks extremely cool in the process! A watch that’s an absolute classic and can be worn with shorts on the beach or with a tuxedo at the Opera.

This 5513 from 1972 has a beautiful matte black, Non-Serif dial with vanilla patina on the Tritium hour dots, the Tritium inside the three hands has a slightly darker patina, which is a nice combination and gives an overall warm contrast to the entire watch. The case on this Submariner has been refreshed, meaning the lugs were re-cut to bring back the Rolex chamfers on the lugs. A job that’s done more often nowadays to bring a watch back to it’s former factory condition. This 5513’s case re-cutting was done by a German watch and case maker, where not only the cut and chamfers are sharp and clean, but also the correct Swiss Lapping technique was used to bring back the ‘Rolex brushing’ on top of the chamfers – In short; it was done the correct way! The stainless steel bezel and the black insert are both in a good condition. All in all this is a beautiful no nonsense 5513 Submariner, which will ultimately be someone’s watch for life and then some.. If you are not particularly charmed by this black NATO strap, you are of course more than welcome to pick out a strap from our Molequin collection which will suit your personal style best.

The 1570 movement has been fully service according the Rolex specifications, this Submariner will be sold with a twelve month warranty.
