Rolex 1007 “Taupe Ghost”
This Elegant, yet sporty looking Rolex Oyster Perpetual with its classic lines, its hourly indexation Engine turned bezel, and completely insane Taupe colored Ghost dial, is a little bit what vintage Rolex dreams are made of. A life full of (vintage) watch passion often starts with a watch like this; Oyster case, automatic movement, brushed Oyster bracelet, plexiglass crystal, and a rare dial – in this case one of the rarest to find on a 34mm Rolex (yes, find me another one) I mean, what’s not to like! So if you’re looking for something special and a watch you won’t come across a second of anytime soon, then perhaps this Rolex 1007 “Taupe Ghost” is meant for you.
This Rolex Oyster Perpetual features a heavy taupe colored dial with hints of cappuccino beige, and brown. Once on the wrist you will be mind blown, the dial shows three to four different colors and has the attractive ‘Ghost’ feature thanks to the combo of the dial color and the white printed text. The watch and dial radiate a very warm appearance against the stainless steel backdrop due to the earthy colors of the dial. This vintage Oyster features a beautiful and high quality vintage dial, with soft Sunburst lines, which wonderfully combine with those typical late1960’s, fat brushed hour-markers and their delicately polished facets at the top and bottom (another rare and sporadically seen combo for a 1007 reference). This vintage Rolex is still fitted on it’s original 19mm, 7835/357 folded Oyster bracelet with a sturdy folding clasp that shows a clean and sharp Rolex coronet. The case is in a more than fair condition while the original bezel free from any major damages. Feel free to schedule your appointment with us, and i’m sure you will be highly impressed by this vintage charmer.
This Rolex 1007 “Taupe Ghost” has been fully serviced and will be sold with our extensive two year mechanical warranty.
