WatchWorks Haarlem is located in ‘De Koepel’, a former prison located on the edge of the historic city center of Haarlem, near the charming Spaarne river. Named after its characteristic dome (koepel in Dutch), ‘De Koepel’ was built in 1899 and opened in 1901. What was for over a century home for hundreds of inmates is now a unique and comfortable surrounding for a cinema, lunchroom, and a wide variety of innovative and creative businesses, including WatchWorks Haarlem.

Here we like to welcome you to share our mutual passion over a good cup of coffee. To ensure personal attention and security, we work by appointment only. This allows you not only to see our watches but also to browse through our curated selection of accessories, straps, and watch cases. Appointments can be scheduled ahead of time by email, phone, Whatsapp, or DM through Instagram.

WatchWorks Haarlem is easily accessible, with ample places to park your bike or car on ‘De Koepel’ premises. Bike parking is free of charge. Access to the car park is arranged by ParkBee, with either the app or using your smartphone and the QR code at the entrance on the side of the Papentorenvest. The hourly price is €2.90 (which is lower than the cost of parking on the nearby streets).

From Haarlem’s Central Train Station, you can walk to the impressive entrance of De Koepel within 10-15 minutes.
