When it comes to these Wide Boy Datejust watches, more often than not the wider style hands are replaced for later, thinner ones, or the Tritium inside the hands does’t match anymore with the tritium on the indices. With this particular Rolex Datejust ”Wide Boy” we are very happy to report that literally everything is still all original! From the hands to the matching tritium, to the bezel and folded Jubilee bracelet and its gorgeous Big Logo clasp, to the mechanics inside the movement.

We will let the photo’s do the talking here, inspect that beautiful Sunray finished dial with its spectacular Wide Boy indices, inspect the Tritium on the dots and inside the hands – inspect its colour and compound. Have a look at the folded Jubilee bracelet with that killer clasp or the clean Engine Turned bezel. The watch was manufactured in 1968 and the bracelet shows a code which is in line with a 1969 production date – Another great match.. This entire Datejust truly looks the part and gives off the coolest vintage vibe just because it has different hands and indices – It really is a rare and uber cool Datejust which was taken very good care of the past 50+ years!
