A black dialed 1601 Rolex Datejust is a watch that’s becoming harder to find nowadays, that’s why we’re happy to offer you guys this wonderful specimen in a very good condition. This 1601 has a sharp looking 18k white gold fluted bezel, fitted to a thick and clean case with four equally sized, solid lugs with little traces of wear. This Datejust is worn on a 6251H folded Jubilee bracelet with little stretch and a solid and clean looking folding clasp with just some hairline scratches.

The incredible matte black dial with it’s gorgeous and clean looking, thicker indices with fine brushed lines is a more modern example. This particular dial was fitted to the watch by a Rolex Service Center and is a dial with luminova plots at the end of the indices. Both the 18k white gold hour and minute hand are also filled with a sleek line of luminova. Having said that, this dial is nothing short of stunning and if you see, and try on, this iconic Rolex Datejust you will be in love for sure! The matte black dial is absolutely spotless and shows an anthracite colour outside in the sunshine. The folded Jubilee bracelet fits a wrist with a circumference up to up to 19.5cm. More and more often we are getting the request from our clients for unpolished watches, that’s why we chose not to polish this 1601 Datejust either, should you still want a mirror-polish done to the case, bezel and center-links of the Jubilee bracelet, we’d be more then happy to help you out.

Lastly, I’d like to point out that we are constantly turning the hands during photography to keep them pointing at ten past ten or ten to two. Because of this, the date-disc can slightly drop and look of centre, but no worries, it’s completely centered and this Datejust is 100% performing according to the Rolex specifications. This vintage 1601 Rolex Datejust was once again fully serviced and the watch will be sold with a 12 month warranty.
