1803 Day-Date

Here’s another alluring vintage Rolex Day-Date! This 18k yellow gold Day-Date was born in 1967 and features a striking gold Sunburst dial with 18k yellow golden ‘stick’ indices and ‘stick’ hands. All Tritium plots on the minute-track and all Tritium inside the hands show a warm vanilla tone which matches wonderfully with the original cream colored day and date discs, of which the latter shows the coveted open six and nine numerals.

The Day wheel features the days of the week in English of course, and the 55 year old golden case remains in an excellent condition with beefy lugs, a sharp 1960’s style Fluted bezel and all gold hallmarks clearly visible to the naked eye. Within the range of 36mm vintage watches we feel that the 1803 Day-Date truly is one of the most beautiful vintage Rolex watches around. On a leather strap the watch looks effortlessly elegant, yet extremely cool – a great example of what the Italians call Sprezzatura. A Day-Date fitted to a leather strap is also fairly affordable compared to its full gold Presidential brothers, and also a bit more undercover I might add.. This particular 1803 is fitted on a Navy blue Grained Calf leather strap with ecru colored stitching, the gold buckle which closes the leather strap around your wrist is our own gold-plated Premium buckle and can be chosen in a full polish or a brushed finish – the choice is yours.

This 1803 Day-Date was fully serviced by our Rolex trained watchmakers according the Rolex factory specs, the watch will be sold with our 24 month warranty and delivered in a vintage style box.
