Omega 2709 18k Pink Gold

Let me start by saying that a 34mm Omega from the 1950’s executed in 18k pink gold is a very rare find! These particular references (if you can find one) are mainly available in yellow gold and most of those watches have re-done or re-painted dials without the correct hands. Not only is our Omega 2709 all original, but the dial remains in untouched all original conditions with those wonderful pink gold indices and Dagger hands to match.

The watch case on this Omega is an absolute dream, I would say it’s 98% unpolished, that 2% was lost due to the former owner (carefully and scarcely) wearing the watch. The entire 18k pink golden case remains in strong and solid condition with those magnificent Fancy Lugs as the cherry on the cake. These lugs show gorgeous facets and cuts and are machined downwards towards the center case, which creates a lot of depth and often making the watch look like it is floating on your wrist. Even the smallest faceted line on these lugs is still sharp and clearly visible to the naked eye. The large silver/creamy dial is adorned by those beautiful Arabic numerals for the even numbers, and sleek arrow indices for the uneven ones. As mentioned, all the hands are original and also manufactured from 18k pink gold, as is the Omega logo.

Due to the watch its age, the pink gold is showing an even warmer patina in certain places, giving this watch even more charisma and a very attractive appearance. She’s fitted to our Signature WWH Midnight Blue strap which closes around your wrist using the pink gold plated, vintage Omega buckle. The movement inside this Omega was fully serviced and the watch will be sold with a 24 month warranty.
