Omega Dynamic Chronograph

The Omega Dynamic Chronograph Reference 5240.5000 was introduced in 1997 as the third and final generation of Omega’s ‘Dynamic’ line. This third generation of the ‘Dynamic’, drew inspiration from watches delivered to the British forces during World War II and was intended to appeal to a younger consumer. It was available in two versions, one with central seconds and date function, and the other with a 30-minute chronograph; as you can see from the photos above, we’re dealing/offering the latter.

This Dynamic Chronograph is executed with a 38.1 mm satin brushed finished stainless steel case, exuding a timeless and military style of design. The watch features a matte black dial with Breguet style, Arabic numerals, luminescent material, and various yellow colored accents, creating a balanced and visually appealing layout. Especially those Brequet style numerals are a real eye-catcher and truly add something special and captivating to this Omega. The dial design includes a running seconds register at 3 o’clock, a 30-minute chrono-counter register at 9 o’clock, and a white minute/second/1/5 of a second chapter ring with yellow accents on the outside of the dial. This is what we call a 30-minute chronograph which also features the coveted “pump” chrono pushers and a screw-down crown for added functionality and water resistance. The watch is worn on either a black or grey, French Baranil strap which closes around your wrist using the original Omega pin buckle. She’s accompanied by the original Omega box, Omega warranty papers and Omega card, along with a collection of (Omega Service Center) service papers and parts replaced during the last service, adding to this watch its provenance and collectibility.

In summary, this Omega Dynamic Chronograph, Reference 5240.5000 represents a blend of heritage, precision engineering, and timeless design, making it a coveted timepiece for watch enthusiasts and collectors alike which is only gaining more attention and momentum in the current watch-market. This Dynamic truly is a bang for your buck! The movement was completely checked by our watchmaker at the official Omega Service Center, and the watch still runs according the Omega specs (from its last service in 2020). As always, she will be sold with our two year warranty.
