The pitch black Onyx dial is truly immaculate and without any marks or cracks. All three of the ‘closed’ golden hands are of course the original to the watch and are also like new without any damages. The fluted bezel remains sharp and another thing worth mentioning is that the sapphire crystal was replaced by Rolex, so also original with the correct 2.5x magnification for the cyclops which enhances the date. Notice the clean golden edges for the day and date windows, those are the type of details that give an extra dimension of depth to this already deep black dial which just keeps drawing you in.
