Rolex Date 18k B&P Unpolished!
It doesn’t happen to often that we find a gold Rolex watch in this particular condition. This Rolex Date with reference 15238 from 1981 manufactured from 18k yellow gold and fitted to an 18k yellow gold, Riveted Oyster bracelet, is a watch which was scarcely worn over the last 40 years and is therefor a vintage Rolex which remains in truly excellent conditions.
Yes, there are a few hairline scratches on the bracelet and case, but this is absolutely nothing to worry about. As you can see we classified this Rolex Date as an ‘Unpolished’ watch, meaning that we, and our Rolex certified watchmakers, are convinced that this watch hasn’t been polished by a machine anytime in the last four decades. Take a good look at the clasp, at the coronet adorning that clasp, at the case and that stunning gold Riveted bracelet. Everything is sharp and without traces of polishing, and not only that, the 7205 Riveted Oyster bracelet with 57 end-links is a bracelet 100% free from stretch, it’s like new! The golden dial with its 18k gold indices and hands is in perfect condition and remains free from any damages, moist or blemishes. The gold bezel is best described as a combination of a coin-edge bezel and a fluted one, it’s simply gorgeous and like the rest of the watch, without damages and 100% unpolished. The reference 15238 Date with Riveted Oyster bracelet was available and in Rolex catalogues till at least mid 2000’s (we have the catalogues in the office) but finding a true vintage one like this, in this particular condition complete with it’s boxes and paperwork, is still a rare find nowadays.
This Rolex Date was fully serviced by our watchmakers according the strict Rolex specs and the watch will of course be delivered with our 24 month warranty. Feel free to schedule in your private shopping appointment and come and see how wonderful this vintage Rolex Date truly is!
