Rolex Explorer I B&P
What an incredibly beautiful and super full set, near new Explorer I. This sports Rolex with adventure genes has to be one of the most popular watches around. I have yet to meet someone that thinks this watch is a bad idea. The Explorer I is the smallest of the Rolex sports models, and one that has a true icon status.
As you can see from the photo’s this Explorer remains in near new conditions, the case is strong and sharp, the smooth bezel is free from damages and the sporty dial is 100% spotless. The robust Oyster bracelet is pristine with very little to no stretch. This 14270 Explorer I has an A-serial case number and was manufactured in 1999, therefor this beauty is fitted with the “Swiss Made” dial variant. A series Explorer watches bore the “Swiss Made” text at the bottom of the dial to signify the change from LumiNova to Super-LumiNova. The latter having a more bright and longer lasting ‘glow in the dark’ characteristic – To be clear; this particular A series Explorer is a watch fitted with such a dial that features Super-LumiNova on the indices and hands. These late 1990’s Explorer I watches are becoming quite the hot ticket and it’s becoming harder to find these watches in this particular condition, especially accompanied by the correct boxes and paperwork.
Remember that this is a watch already three generations older then the current Explorer I, and you know what that means with Rolex.. These will only get more rare and harder to obtain. This Explorer Toolwatch was fully serviced according the Rolex specs and will be sold with our 24 month warranty.
