We managed to get our hands on this very cool ladies Rolex Oysterdate, this reference 6466 is a mid-size Rolex and dates back to 1970. This sturdy, yet classy Rolex ladies watch features a gorgeous, grainy matte black dial with warm yellow patinated Tritium on the end of all the indices. The aged Tritium inside the hands display this same colour of patina while the indices themself show some nice micro details in the form of sharp facets and engraved lines on top of each indice. The hands with their pointy, arrow like tops are particularly nice and a cool break from the flat style hands we are used to seeing on Oysterdate watches. We kept the case, bezel and bracelet unpolished because these remain in a good condition, but should you like a full polish then we’re more than happy to tend to it.

The 6466 reference is usually found on an Oyster bracelet or a leather strap, our Oysterdate is fitted to a 62510M Jubilee bracelet from 1981, this 17mm Jubilee fits this 6466 perfectly and wears very comfortable (according to the misses). The bracelet is in a good condition with very little stretch and a strong folding clasp that shows a clear Rolex coronet. We feel that this is a very wearable, not so flashy watch for the ladies – the 31mm diameter and the overall appearance of this Oysterdate are low-key and perfect if you want to enjoy a vintage Rolex that is not too heavy on the wrist or has a too much of a presence – It is a watch that will only provoke compliments and smiles.

The manual wind, caliber 1210 housed inside this Rolex Oysterdate was fully serviced and the watch will be sold with a 12 month warranty.
