Why buy the recently introduced re-issue of an Ed White Speedmaster when you can own the original? This Omega Speedmaster 105.003-65 ‘Ed White’ with it’s original, manually wound 321 caliber is the real deal! In our humble opinion it’s also one of the best looking ones that’s available for sale at the moment. This Speedmaster looks marvelous with a chocolate brown DON insert and spotless, non professional ‘closed T’ step dial that is showing hints of brown outside in the sunlight.

The stepped dial with it’s clean lay-out is showing some wonderful yet modest serif printing on the words Omega, Speedmaster and Tswiss madeT. The entire dial, including the edges are free from damage or water deterioration, often you will find these Ed White Speedies with damaged dials, not this one though! On top of that perfect vintage dial the Tritium on the so-called Tall indices show a warm vanilla colour. As often the case with these vintage Speedmasters the hands show a different colour of patina when compared to the indices, we particulary love the copper brown tone inside the chronograph’s counter hand – matches nicely with that chocolate brown insert. All hands, including the ones for the chronograph are still the original, as are the pushers, the winding crown is a modern version and was replaced during the service. The straight lug case is in a very good condition and the double stepped case-back remains unpolished with a very clear Seahorse logo and the corresponding text. This Speedy is worn on a 1039 bracelet which remains in a very good condition. Apart from Omega’s steel bracelet, this Ed White Speedy is also accompanied by a vintage style leather Omega strap including a vintage Omega buckle.

Lastly i would like to invite you to stop by at our HQ to have a look at this truly stunning Ed White Speedmaster, photo’s don’t do justice to this rare Moonwatch. The insert is more chocolate brown in real life than we can ever photograph, the dial is also way more nice than on any of our photo’s, so please don’t hesitate to reach out and schedule in an appointment. The original 321 caliber was fully service for a near €1000,- by our Omega trained and certified watchmakers. New movement parts were ordered directly from Omega Switzerland and this vintage Ed White Speedmaster is once again like new and will be sold with 12 month warranty.
