‘What a gorgeous little chronograph’ was my first thought when i laid my eyes on this Universal Geneve Uni-Compax. Not only is this the second largest size (35mm) within the UG reference line for Uni-Compax watches, she also remains in excellent and all original condition.

The well balanced dial is finished with a beautiful soft glaze and features Arabic style 12 and 6 relief markers. The remaining eight indexes, are short relief bars, all filled with tritium that has evenly turned to an attractive yellow patina. The Dauphine hands are in a good condition and show a lighter tone of patina for the Tritium, also notice the beautiful hand-blued hands for the sub-dials and the chronograph counter hand. The black graphics on the dial are combined with an outer blue coloured Tachymeter scale, based on a 1000 units – This subtle colour combination gives an extra depth to the dial and will make it easier to read the Chronograph should you feel the need to measure some elapsed time. All numbers on, and inside the watch are clearly visible with the naked eye and both pushers as well as the ”U” branded winding crown, are still the original to the watch.

The watch it’s movement, caliber 281, was serviced by our watchmakers and we fitted the watch to a beautiful suede strap that matches the index’s patina on the dial. This Universal Geneve Uni-Compax will be sold with a 12 month warranty.
