A Triple Calendar Complication with Moonphase display, Panda dial, twisted lug case, a DON Tachymeter bezel, original G&F bracelet, day and month windows, a very complicated movement all housed in a 36mm case. This first execution, Universal Geneve Tri-Compax trully has it all! Not the least, it was one of Eric Clapton’s favourite watches back in the late 1960’s.

What can we say about this watch? We’re just really happy to offer you guys this amazing vintage Calendar, Chronograph from the sixties. This UG Tri-Compax remains in all original condition with still the original “U” branded crystal fitted. Also fitted to the watch is the very rare stainless steel, Gay & Frerès bracelet in excellent condition with very little stretch and correct “U” branded folding clasp with UW end-links. The pushers and “U” branded crown are also still there. The caliber 281 movement, the spotless all original Tachymeter insert, all the original hands – This watch just ticks all the boxes! We believe that the twisted lug case, the case-back, bezel and the bracelet are still unpolished, sure there are hairline scratches on the watch but once inspected you will see this watch is actually in amazing conditions! The dial shows a few small dots/marks in the white areas of the dial, but nothing too serious or anything to worry about.

At 36mm this UG is not too big and fits perfectly on the wrist. The red accents from the month and day displays as well as the chronograph counter hand, make it the perfect dressy/sports watch, a watch that will make quite the statement without being too loud – A true Rock & Roll gentleman’s watch.

The caliber 281 was fully serviced and the watch will be sold with a 12 month warranty, including the original UG watch box.
