Too many the name Vetta doesn’t really ring a bell, it’s a brand which peaked during the 1950’s and 1960’s but sadly went down during the quartz crisis in the late 1970’s. Vetta was an Italian brand producing high quality Swiss watches and originally started off as the Italian importer for the Wyler Watch Company.
Vetta’s most interesting watches were all fitted with vibrant dial designs, either gorgeous chronograph dials like for instance a Pulsations dial, or in this case an amazing hand-guilloched dial with beautiful copper applied numerals. We hope the images above will give you a good sense on the design and depth of the dial. The guilloche finish is never really the same, when on the wrist and depending from which angle the watch is viewed, there are almost different motives visible – truly stunning. The Oversized watchcase has beautiful so-called ‘Fancy’ lugs which from an optical point of view makes the watchcase seem even larger than it’s 37 millimeter.
Most likely this Oversized Vetta dress-watch was born with a silver or white dial, but due to it’s age this colour turned to a beautiful golden brown tone – that beige/brownish dial combined with the copper numerals is absolutely stunning! This Vetta watch has great sense of style and a great design, to add to this, the watch is fitted on a stainless steel Beads of Rice bracelet with straight endlinks. Also, this watch does’t look too shabby on one of our leather straps either 🙂
The movement is fully serviced and the watch will be sold with a twelve month warranty.
